EB Reading
EB Reading stands for electricity bill reading. In Tamil Nadu, the electricity meter has a consumer number or CA number. For each CA number, there is an electricity meter and bill is generated according to the consumption. The EB reading provides a measurement of how bill must be calculated.
Checking EB reading on app
Consumers can also check their electricity bill reading through an app developed by the government. The App is called TANGEDCO App. The TANGEDCO App provides you with an option to sign up using your registered mobile number. An OTP is received on the number for the CA number verification.
You are then logged into your TNEB account and your eb reading can also be checked there.
